B.Tech Admission Process (CMRIT)

Admission to B.E./B. Tech programs at CMRIT are generally based on:
• KCET (Karnataka CET)
• COMEDK UGET
• Institutional Quota

Candidates are selected based on entrance exam performance and the counselling process

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must qualify in any one of the following exams:
  • KCET
  • COMEDK
  • JEE
  • Eligibility Criteria for NRI/Foreign/PIO Candidates (Supernumerary Quota – B.E. Programs Only)
  • Candidates must have completed the 10+2 education system, which is equivalent to the Karnataka Pre-University curriculum.
  • The qualifying subjects should include Physics and Mathematics, along with any one of the following: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics/Biology.
  • English must be one of the languages of study in the qualifying examination.
  • A minimum of 45% marks in optional subjects is required, as per VTU eligibility criteria.
